FAQ

The questions we are asked

A move raises a great many questions — more so from a tower, and more so with a border involved. Here are the ones we hear most, answered plainly. If yours is not here, brief us.

Do you move in and out of the Canary Wharf towers?

Daily. The Wharf is a district of high-rise apartments, and we handle their particulars as routine — service-lift and loading-bay booking, concierge and estate liaison, protected communal areas, and moves scheduled to the building’s access windows so nothing overruns.

How do I get a quote?

Send us the brief — where you are moving from and to, and roughly what is coming with you. We arrange a survey, in person or by video, and return a clear, written quotation. No guesswork, and no figure offered before we have seen the job.

Can you work around a demanding schedule?

It is what we are built for. Evening and weekend slots, out-of-hours office moves, and scheduling aligned to a posting’s start date are all standard. One coordinator holds your move, so you are not managing it between meetings.

Which financial centres do you move people to?

Our established routes run to Frankfurt and across Germany, Zurich and Geneva in Switzerland, Dublin, Amsterdam and Paris — the European financial hubs the Wharf sends people to — and we move throughout Europe beyond them.

How long will an international posting move take?

That depends on the route, the customs clearance and how the consignment is scheduled. Rather than quote a figure we cannot guarantee, your written quotation sets out an estimated window for your move, and your coordinator keeps you posted as it firms up.

Do you handle office and floor relocations?

Yes. Offices and trading floors across the estate and the City are moved out of hours with every asset logged, planned to your calendar and compliance requirements, so business resumes without a beat lost.

Can you store our things between residences?

We can. Postings and property chains rarely align neatly, so we hold goods in clean, secure storage for as long as needed — between a London base and a home abroad, or a sale and a completion. Everything is inventoried in and out.

Is our move insured while in your care?

Appropriate goods-in-transit and liability cover applies to every move, with the options set out plainly in your quotation and booking contract. High-value and fragile items are noted at survey so they are protected — and covered — to the right level.

A question we have not answered?

Brief us — no obligation. A coordinator will give you a straight answer and, if you like, arrange a survey.
